About Me

My Writing Life. My philosophy: I'm as passionate about my life as I am my stories. I can't remember a time when I didn't want to be a writer. My passion for stories having been born out of my love for reading. And I read nearly everyone. Give me a compelling idea with interesting people and I'm hooked. My passion has always been for story. I started early, in a quiet nook in my Midwest home, and still remember the excitement of escaping to new worlds and meeting new people, both strong and independent, through those early literary jaunts. Today my writing career spans 13 years and most media. I've penned hundreds of feature articles and written works published in a variety of media. My work can be found in both U.S. and international markets. I hold a bachelor of arts in journalism. In addition to speaking conversational Spanish, I'm learning Mandarin Chinese. Last summer, I took up French although I must admit I'm not good at it even though I adore the language. An Ohio native, I moved to Texas twenty-five years ago where I live with my husband, two sons, and daughter. Although I spend much of my time on a basketball court with my family, I can also be found snorkeling with them during exotic travels in summer or on a mountain skiing in winter.
